Alexa Podalsky

I’m Alexa Podalsky, a journalist and producer who loves turning complicated ideas, big moments, and human stories into something people actually want to watch, read, and remember.

My work spans broadcast news, sports, digital storytelling, and video production. I’ve reported for The Boston Globe, produced award-winning television packages, created short-form and long-form video for Boston University, and covered everything from championship field hockey to the science hiding inside baseball, architecture, climate, and the deep sea.

In 2026, my work with BUTV10’s Good Morning BU earned a NATAS Student Production Award for Best Sports Story. I’m also beginning my next chapter as a newscast producer at WJAR in Providence.

Whether I’m in a newsroom, behind a camera, interviewing an expert, or writing against deadline, I’m always chasing the same thing: a story worth stopping for.
